CH.Sunwood E-Z Love
                                                    January 8, 2000 – September 11, 2003
E-Z Love was the heart and soul of Sunwoods Bostons. This regal princess was born to love and be loved.  She gave much more than she received.  E-Z shared her Sunwood residence with Jill & Doc and an assortment of other canine and feline friends.   Her natural beauty and elegance embraced  all who met her.  E-Z was very humble and actually exhibited the attitude of a commoner. When she was shown she captured  the hearts of those ringside and engaged the judges with confidence and spirit.
E-Z found joy in bringing happiness to all who encountered her.  Her pleasant and happy demeanor touched everyone, from young children to mature friends.  She always could make you smile.  She loved her house mates and when other new Boston and Schnauzer moms occupied the residential puppy  room, E-Z always was there to reassure and assist the nervous new moms in any manner that she could.
E-Z enjoyed cruising in the motor home with Doc, Jill and her beautiful boxer accomplice Cassie.  Their travels took them around the mid-west and once to New England.  She loved driving the horses whether it be a parade in Canal Fulton,  escorting Santa Claus to town, or coming off the hot dusty trails from a weekend adventure.  It was fun just riding around the perimeter of the bean field with Billy on board.  When E-Z was in your company we all had fun.

It was plain and simple, E-Z was passionate about her role in motherhood.   She bore three handsome sons only 3 ½ weeks prior to her death.    All exhibit their mother’s spirit and enthusiasm for life and convey her elegance.  Her legacy also includes another handsome son, CH. Sunwoods Regal Heir, Paddy, the first born son, March 17, 2002.  Paddy stylishly ascended to his championship at the side of his presenter, Imogene Brown.  He finished as a dominant force at the prestigious shows prior to Christmas 2003 at The Cleveland Crown Classic.

Just barely a year later, her son, Spirit, ( Sunwoods E-Z Spirit),  was adopted by Teresa & Jim Hendrix and will reside with the T-Bo Bostons in Alabama.  Watch for him, as he commands the attention of the Judges and those ringside in Texas and beyond.  Spirit is being presented by his enthusiastic handler Ms. Jackie Breazale.  Watch for this dynamic duo in a ring, in a state, where everything is bigger and better.

At a later date to be determined, watch for the appearance other  two sons of EZ,  Sunwoods Cosmic Winds and Sunwoods E-Z Does It as they too aspire to reach their championship plateaus for Mom.

Finally, E-Z’s greatest love, and best beau, Cosmo, remains lonesome without her and true to her heart.  He was deeply saddened by her death.  Some day he knows, they’ll meet again, just over Rainbow’s Bridge.  Until then, E-Z’s love will continue to live on forever in our memories, and in our hearts.

In Remembrance of E-Z Love
E-Z and I were sitting on a hillside,
Here on our peaceful Ohio farm.
Ina twinkling of a second,
This regal Boston's spirit left my arms.
She looked at me with kind dark eyes
An ancient wisdom shining through
And in the essence of her being
I saw love in there too.
Her mind did lock upon my heart
As we sat there on that day
And she told me of her story
About a place so far away.
Her tale did put my heart at ease
My fears did fade away
About what lay ahead of me
On another distant day.
"I live among God's creatures now
In the Heavens of your mind
So do not grieve for me, my friend
As I am with my kind.
My collar is a rainbow's hue
My leash a shooting star
My boundaries are the Milky Way
Where I sparkle from afar.
There are no pens or kennels here
For I am not confined
But free to roam God's Heavens
Among my Canine kind.
I nap the day on snowy clouds
Gentle breezes rocking me
And dream the dream of earthlings
Of how it used to be.
The trees are full of liver treats
And tennis balls abound
Milk Bones line the walkways
Just waiting to be found.
There also is a ring setup
The grass all lush and green
Where even all the Rescue Dogs
Can become the Best of Breed.
For we're all winners in this place
We have no faults, you see.
And God passes out Blue Ribbons
To each one, even me!
I drink from waters laced with gold
My world is beauty to behold
And wise old dogs do form my pride
To amble at my very side.
At night I sleep in Angel's arms
Her wings protecting me
And moonbeams dance about us
As stardust falls on thee.
So when your life on Earth is spent
And you stand at Heaven's Gate
Have no fear of loneliness
For here, Jill you know- I wait."

GCH.Sunwood Regal Heir

Loving and loyal,
A friend through and through,
How in the world can I
live life without you?
I've known you since you
Were just a scrappy little pup.
Fighting to survive,
And you never gave up.
I watched you grow into a
beautiful canine friend.
Back in those days,
I could not imagine this end.
But now it is all over,
And you're truly gone.
Somehow I'll find a way
To try to carry on.
Perhaps one day I'll find
A new puppy who,
Will become my dear friend,
But she'll never replace you.
I'll keep your little photo
hung up on my wall,

And I'll always remember you
As the very best dog of all.
